Although the term "White House" is not intended to be racist or exclusive, there are lots of white houses and it is something of a silly name . And, the recent highlighting of the fact that it was built by slaves makes any suggestion of a racial implication inappropriate. The name "Executive Mansion" is more accurate and more distinguished, and would be a much better name for the very large home and offices of the head of the Executive Branch .
