This petition stems from the recent petition to rename Lake Michigan to Lake Wisconsin. Wisconsin has long desired to be nicknamed "The Mitten State". As we all know, that is and always has been, Michigan. Now, we all understand that Wisconsin has long been overdosed on fermented cheese and strong beer. We all know that everyone wants to be in as beautiful of a state as Michigan, that's completely understandable to anyone who has ever been to Michigan. This petition should finally make it possible for the "Cheese Heads" to become just like the state they idolize.
