Renewed Homestead Act. New Mexico

My name is Keefe Adaire Stone and I am not all that smart when it comes to trying to convince people of anything really. But I am an honest person and I truly believe that my state needs a new Homestead act. With revision's like no more than 10 acres per person and 20 acres per family. With that much acreage each person and/or family could easily grow enough food to sustain themselves without the need of large farm animals like cows and horses, but rather rabbit's, chickens and goats along with plenty of space to grow plenty of delicious veggies/fruits. I sincerely believe that the homestead life develops hard working and trustworthy people, which is something this great nation of ours needs. Please Mr. Obama, help me help my home state of New Mexico. Thank you
