The Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP, will have several negative impacts on the United States including, but not limited to, setting unnecessary rules on non-trade matters as internet freedoms and financial regulations, as well as allowing corporations based in countries party to the agreement to have more control over various decisions than any given signing country’s respective legislative body.
There is a difference between free-trade and the homogenization of the world’s governments and economy, and we petition President Obama to put America’s citizens and their interests first.
