The Great War ,or as we commonly know it as, World War I, is a war that is overshadowed by the brutality of World War II. Millions of Americans put their lives on the line to fight for their country.Though America only fought in the war for a single year, over 120,000 men died. This war was a vital part of American history and politics. The U.S deserves a monument dedicated to those who fought. I hope that this gets enough recognition and it does get seen.
