It's time to stop the charade of cutting White House tours, and punishing the public for Washington's inability to find fiscal responsibility. President Obama's vacation this summer to Martha's Vineyard will cost the taxpayers millions of dollars, and we are currently funding research on why lesbians are more obese than gay men.
As long as spending like this is in place, it makes no sense to stop young Americans from seeing the White House. These two examples (each and alone) would fund White House tours for almost 2 years.
Lets stop punishing America's children on school trips with childish acts such as this, and reopen White House to the public.
