I have been working for a year to make my stepson's wish to visit the White House come true. All he wanted to see was this and the Hope Diamond and has talked about it for months. Now that we have saved for the trip, requested off work and been in contact with our Congressional Rep for tickets, closing the White House is being used as a political showpiece in regard to the budget debate. Please stop and think. Not everyone gets this opportunity often.
