Reorganize to a 3on3 Postal Service

Created by G.R. on February 02, 2013

The U.S. Postal Service should be reorganized to a 3on3 approach. The 3on3 approach is to deliver to homes 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday) and to businesses 3 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday). Anyone wanting delivery on non-delivery days, based on their category would then pay a fee. This should decrease labor and fuel costs and allow for another way to obtain monies. Post Offices could also go to a similar approach and be open 3 days a week & each Post Office would have the Electronic Kiosk for people to use when closed. In areas where there are large populations & multiple Post Offices, branches could take alternate days so that all are not open each day, but some are open each day. Employees could work 2 branches to maintain their work hours.
