It is become very clear to people living in the U.S. and even outside it that we have some of what you may consider wasteful expenditures but there are (aside from the gulf courses) some projects that do have purpose but perhaps could be better tailored to future needs.
We find a great deal of concern in our continued commissioning and repair of tanks that have not and may possibly never even see the field of battle. I do see that jobs are made from the construction of these tanks however would it not be a better solution to create more of something we use more of today like the Predator Drone? Of course the cost of building a Drone may be higher but it would be more useful. Alternatively putting a bulk of the money into research and development of more defensive technology.
