1. Sell our grain to the OPEC countries at the same price per bushel as they charge for a barrel of oil. I bet they come down on those prices when they get hungry enough. We can still travel by foot, bicycle, battery operated vehicles, horse, etc. and we can farm by horse. That means we can still eat. Lets see them eat petroleum when they can't grow corn or wheat in the desert.
2. Cut off foreign aid to other countries. Why are we borrowing from China and bringing our nation deeper in debt if we afford to aid other countries? Less tax dollars spent.
3. Especially cut off foreign aid to countries immediately, like Libya, that will not allow us to beef up our Embassy protection and close our Embassies in those countries immediately. Less tax dollars spent.
