African americans have not been apologized to like the other races that have been wronged by america. I will use the Japanese as an example they have been apologized to multiple times. I think the government of the United States should apologize and issue reparations in the amount of $250,000 to every african american over the age of 18. I also believe that since African Americans did not receive the same guarantee to land as white Americans African Americans should be exempt from property taxes. Many Americans know that African Americans have not had the chances many others have had. This is a chance for America to make a change and to also fix the African American community which is plagued with problems of poverty,hopelessness and crime. I believe its time to take care of this problem.
