Reparations for Black Americans

Today America is the most powerful country in the world, thanks to the backs slaves. From 1865 to 1945 slavery was accepted. Slavery did not end in 1863 with Abraham Lincolns emancipation proclamation . Following slavery their were Jim crow laws, which were state and local laws enforcing racial segregation in southern United States. In 1971 the Alaska natives land settlement which paid out $1billion + 44 million acres of land, in 1980 $81 million was paid to klamaths of Oregon, in 1985 $105 million was paid out to Sioux of South Dakota, also in 1985 $12.3 million was paid to Seminoles of Florida, again in 1985 $31 million was paid to chippewas of Wisconsin, in 1986 $32 million to ottawas of Michigan, in 1990 $1.2 billion was paid to Japanese Americans. Reparations are long overdue.
