We the undersigned, hold that the United States owes a moral and financial debt to the descendants of the Enslaved Africans whose stolen labor over 500+ years substantially contributed to the wealth of this nation,
Futhermore, from Emancipation (1865) until now (2016), these descendants have been subjected to Jim Crow, segregation, discrimination, exclusion, unequal treatment under the law, etc. resulting in generational poverty, erosion of family-cohesion and limited upward mobility.
Unfortunately, The Founding Father's philosophies on Freedom, Democracy and Equality are no match for hearts committed for generations to the benefits of 'white supremacy.'
