Reparations should be paid for the involuntary enslavement and brutality of African-Americans by the United States.

This petition for reparations is based upon the involuntary enslavement of African Americans. The Unites States benefited greatly from the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. During slavery many millions of human beings were being bought and sold, raped, and castrated by White people whom the United States supported. Our names, religion and culture were all stripped. After slavery, nothing was done to compensate or help African-Americans build a future for ourselves. United States didn't provide any mental health services to it's former slaves it had corrupted.
The United States has refused and continues to sweep the reparations issue under the rug due to racism. Congressman John Conyers Jr's bill HR 40 has been ignored for 20 years. African-American blood soaks the soil of this great country.
