Repatriation of American Citizens Rights to Vote by Presidential Pardon of All 5 year or more Non-violent Ex-Convicts

Created by S.L. on September 22, 2015

In order to offset the deliberate intent of disenfranchising American Citizens of their Rights to Vote over the last 40 plus years with the new Jim Crowe, Incarceration, and with the deliberate sabotage of the Voting Rights Act by the conservative branch of the Supreme Court, I Petition the President to Pardon all Non-violent American citizens who have served their sentences, innocent or not, and have not re-offended for at least 5 years post release. Not only would this reopen opportunities for those ex-felons to rejoin society as a contributing member, but would re-invigorate the true of democracy, by returning the voices to those who, fairly or not, have had those voices silenced in civil obligation. They have paid their debt, owed or not, and their voices should be heard once again.
