The Electoral College is an outdated process of electing a president first introduced by the founding fathers in 1787. Over the years 4 controversies have arisen from this process. The most notable and recent is the 2000 election of Bush vs. Gore. The people's majority should decide an election, and not representatives chosen form a majority in a state. Because of winner take all voting too many voters are not getting their say in the election of a president. If the United States of America is truly a democracy we must ask ourselves and our leaders; is the process of the Electoral College truly democratic?
