Repeal the 17th Amendment of the United States Constitution which would allow the States to choose their Senators

As our Country gets further away from the founding principles that were set forth by our Founding Fathers we find ourselves losing our freedoms and futures. While my future as a young American is looking bleak I can only see pain and tyranny for our children. It is because of this fear that resides in the deepest parts of my heart that I propose that our current President remains faithful to our founding principles and uses his political powers to engage the population of the United States in conversation to bring about the repeal of the 17th Amendment through State conventions as set forth in Article 5 of the Constitution. This repeal of the 17th Amendment will take us away from mob rule and brings us closer to the republican form of government that we are guaranteed.
