We the people petition the US Government for a REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES over the US Senate, Congress, and other officials for their efforts to lead the people of the United States into a Democracy by referring to the US as a Democracy when in fact the US is supposed to be a Constitutional Democracy.
This petition is to promote the repeal of the 17TH AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION. This amendment effectively turned our constitutional Republic into a legislative democracy and denies the states their right to appoint senators as written in the Constitution.
