I believe in the repeal of the national requirement of a 21 year old drinking law for four reasons:
1. This policy denies citizens between the ages of 18 and 20 the right to choose for themselves wether alcohol is a product they wish to consume.
2. This policy is unconstitutional, as it is a "strong arm move" to force states into federal policy. This is simply circumnavigation of the rights of states.
3. This policy reduces consumer base for producers of alcohol and thusly lowers their annual profits.
4. Higher drinking ages produce higher occasions of unsupervised binge drinking.
I hope that the administration has the rights of these citizens in mind when making a decision. Rights of citizens are rights for a reason, choice governs this country down to each individual. No exception
