The majority of Americans are discontent with the candidates for the two main political parties. These candidates are amongst the most publicly hated in history, repealing the 22nd amendment would allow for President Obama to run for a third term in office; which many Americans have expressed would be preferable to them. The 22nd Amendment does not limit the powers of the government, it limits the authority of the people. In a representative democratic system such as ours, the people's voice is the supreme source of legitimacy. If the people want President Obama (or any other president) for multiple terms, we should have the legal right to elect them.
