We the people support H.J.Res.5 - Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the twenty-second article of amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual may serve as President.
The 22nd Amendment restricts U.S. Presidents to 2 elected terms. In so doing, it implies that full-scale democracy does not work and that the People can not be trusted or empowered to select the leader of their choice. It forces the removal of an effective Chief Executive from the electoral process and does not truly allow the People to decide. Therefore, we, the undersigned citizens of the United States, call upon Congress for the immediate repeal of the 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
