The district of columbia is not a state joined in the union of the seperate states and is only a place of operations for the federal government and has not constitutional right to act in any way as a state that is part of the United States. This "district" does not deserve nor should it have any electors for the electoral college because it is not a state and the people living in the "district" have no state citizenship and therefore no legal voting rights granted under the constitution. The "disctrict of columbia" and those living there are under the direct control and authority of the federal government because the "district" is not a state and for that reason the "district" should not be able to act as a state in any circumstance for any reason.
