The 2nd amendment is a fossil that has no purpose in today's America and as long as it stands the only things we can do to legally protect ourselves from gun owners, who are safe and legal gun owners up until they decide to massacre innocent people, are band-aid "feel good" measures that ultimately do not solve the underlying problem - we have guns at all.
Please push for a constitutional amendment repealing the 2nd amendment, the way the 21st repealed the 18th.
