As the body count continues to climb and it becomes obvious that assault weapons and automatic and semi automatic weapons with mega clips of ammunition are everywhere and available to any American who want to own them we are left with only one way to remove this scourge from a civilized America.
Since the NRA refuses to compromise in anyway on sane gun control and Congress is mired in Legislative stasis because of the Gun Lobby and their money we demand that Congress move immediately to repeal the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution. We further insist that, upon repeal, the government move to confiscate all Assault weapons, automatic and semi automatic, rifles and handguns to be melted down.
