The 2nd amendment clearly has been doing more harm than good. Developed countries with strict gun control laws seem to have less crime rates relating to gun use, and I bet $5 that they have less toddlers shooting other people too. At some point along the line 'for the purpose of a well regulated militia' got misconstrued as everyone being able to have unlimited access to firearms. The 2nd amendment needs to be repealed to help the rate of gun crime go down. Clearly the liberal gun control laws the USA has now hasn't stopped ANY of the mass killings in the USA. Compare this to the 0 mass killings from guns that Australia has had since they enacted their strict gun laws, or the relatively low gun crime rate in Japan or the UK.
