The right to bear arms is an arcane law that simply promotes the lowest of human values - the desire to kill (humans or other animals) and destroy property. It statically does not make us safer in our homes, and obviously makes us less safe outside of them. Firearms have become the tool of the insecure, the paranoid, and the mentally ill. Our law enforcement would be more effective without civilians owning firearms, and civilians certainly can not realistically 'protect themselves' from their government by owning them in any way. Target practice withdrawal can be achieved using paintball.
We respectfully request the second Amendment to the constitution be repealed.
