Repeal the 2nd Amendment

All attempts at rational and reasonable firearms control: gun registrations, background checks, restricting weapons intended to murder a maximum number of people in a limited time, armor-piercing bullets, ammunition clips holding over 100 rounds, have all been thwarted by appeals to the 2nd Amendment. We are no longer living in the Colonial era living under the risk of invasion from foreign powers, Native Americans, or others. WE are the risk. This Amendment no longer applies to 21st Century America, but is being abused to allow the slaughter of innocents. Enough is enough. Repeal this Amendment and allow rational gun control.
