Whereas tens of thousands of Americans are killed each year by gun violence: either murdered or by accident,
and
Whereas additional tens of thousands of Americans are hurt or wounded each year unnecessarily by fire arms,
and
Whereas a people's militia is now no longer needed or desirable for the security of the people in the age of nuclear weapons:
It is here-by resolved to repeal the second amendment to the constitution of the United States of America, and that there will not exist any fundamental right for the people to keep or bear arms.
