Handgun ownership is out of control when so many Americans are injured & killed daily in America. I've read that something like 31,000 people are killed annually by handguns in the United States. It's a HUGE number. Comparing that to Britain where they essentially don't have handguns shows only forty people killed in Britain by handguns last year. Factoring in the difference in population, your chances of getting killed by a gun are 160 times higher in the United States than in Britain.
(An average of only about 10 people get killed by sharks every year in the whole world, but sharks are viewed as more dangerous to most uninformed & disengaged people.)
Handguns that are actually much more dangerous get less attention. Abolish the NRA. Repeal the 2nd amendment NOW! Save 31,000 lives!!
