repeal the 35% HUD flat rent increase for public housing residents

Created by T.C. on April 21, 2014

People living in public housing on flat rent are going to be charged another 35% a month beginning June 1 2014. This will affect our elderly and disabled residents. In January 2014 Congress passed and the President signed the new HUD law that allows Public Housing authorities to go up on the fair market value of units rented under the flat rent. In Gadsden for a 3 BR unit will go up $147 a month. This law is for the whole United States. Share this with all your friends and get them to sign it also.
