Repeal the abuse of all Civil Forfeiture laws to return civil liberties back to the private citizen. Thanks.

There has been a gross abuse of power in regards to the Civil Asset Forfeiture laws. Police departments are not required to provide valid stringent justifications on their seizures and have reached the point where their misconduct has reached the public eye. To continue the use and enforcement of these laws will continue to further blur the line of trust among civilian and law enforcement leading to a populace that is fearful of the police force the was originally intended to protect and defend them. We must hold police officers and enforcement agencies to a higher standard that understand their true purpose and value their civil service as a responsibility that needs to be upheld and propelled by the best moral judgement and to not allow laws that have the potential for abuse of power.
