This petition is to appeal to the Obama administration that Texas should no longer be part of the United States. Both citizens of the state of Texas as well as elected officials have expressed an interest in Texas reasserting its independence. In light of recent events in Texas, it is time that we give them the opportunity to re-establish the Republic of Texas and secede from the United States of America.
