Repeal affirmative action (Executive orders 10925 and 11246)

Created by R.R. on March 14, 2014

Affirmative action was a tremendous idea when it was first introduced. It helped to combat oppression in education and the work force for minorities and women. However, the threat of racial discrimination and sexism has all but disappeared in the twenty-first century. Now, affirmative action simply serves to discriminate against white males seeking higher education and job opportunities. For example, if a Caucasian male and a female of African descent were to apply to the same school with similar test scores, recommendations, and GPA's, the minority female would get in. Even if the Caucasian male had a slightly better resume. The same situation occurs daily in both education systems and jobs. Minorities are no longer being oppressed; the majority is.
