We the people agree healthcare reforms are necessary, but the Affordable Care Act is not the way to do it. The Act forces people to purchase insurance or be fined, which is not Constitutional. The basic essential requirements of coverage requires people to purchase coverage that is not needed nor wanted by them, such as men and older individuals being required to have maternity and pediatric coverage. The Act forces individuals out of their current affordable coverage because of the new basic essential coverage requirements the insurers are required to sell. It places individuals into a marketplace where in most cases premiums and deductables are much more expensive. In addition, the ACA is a financial burden on the country and since its rollout is showing signs of administration problems
