In an abrupt effort to provide "affordable" universal healthcare to "all" Americans, the Obama Administration failed to recognize the inequity and sheer fragmentation of the legislation designed to achieve this end. For instance, in order for the program to function properly subscribers between the ages of 18 and 35 must constitute a great percentage of all persons insured. Otherwise, older subscribers will face even greater debilitating insurance rates.
On another score, those persons who decide to exercise their democratic prerogative to not sign up for healthcare coverage through the federal healthcare law will be financially penalized. By the year 2016, it has been projected that this fee will have increased quite significantly.
