Whereas the current tax system has become a burden on working citizens, businesses and the government itself we the people wish to establish a new tax system through abolishing the current system in its entirety and establishing a new system. This system should include a Value Added Tax on all purchases, the establishment of a carbon tax and income tax on citizens whose income exceeds $60,000 with appropriate increases in the proportion taxed as income increases.
The Office of the President shall establish a task force made up of Sociologists, Economists and Psychologists which will develop this new tax system.
