The prohibition of marijuana by the federal government needs to stop. The states should have the authority to determine how marijuana is treated without the federal government stepping in and enforcing costly and unnecessary laws. Just like the prohibition of alcohol, the prohinition of marijuana has created powerful crime organizations that murder innocent people and actually benefit from the laws against marijuana. We need to allow states the authority to pass and enforce the approiate regulations and taxes on the producetion and sale of marijuana.
