This petition demands that all BLATANTLY UNCONSTITUTIONAL provisions in the National Defense Authorization Act, signed by President Barack Obama, as well as the PATRIOT Act, signed by President George W Bush, be immediately repealed.
It is nearly impossible to find an American citizen who is not enraged and/or terrified by some of the provisions in these viciously anti-American laws. Never before have the rights of the American people, that are promised in our Constitution, been so disregarded. One example of a direct violation is the provision allowing US citizens to be detained WITHOUT CAUSE or trial for an INDEFINITE amount of time. Also, Law enforcement agencies can now investigate citizens without probable cause, another blatant, unacceptable violation of the US Constitution.
