Repeal Amendment 2 - Right to Bear Arms

Amendment 2 was not intended to address personal rights or recreation, but rather militias in times of national security. Read on- "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." (Ratified 12/15/1791). BoR Amendments are an important framework for our nation, but were never written in stone, and indeed, our forefathers clearly advocated change. Amendments have been repealed in the past (ex - #18), and can be done so when the safety and security of our citizens are at risk. This action involves a dangerous period of adjustment, but we are the generation responsible for this proliferation of weapons for profit and entertainment. We owe our children a safer world in which to live and learn.
