Repeal Amendment XXVII & create legislation to prohibit members of the Unites States Congress from collecting salary and benefits provided to them beyond actual days of employment.
Reduce the annual salary for all members of Congress to $174,000. This includes the salary of the Speaker of the House and both Majority & Minority leaders.
Limit business expense allowance to the usual and customary expenses allowed to the general working public earning the median income, to be reviewed annually and voted upon by USA citizenry. No more private jets, first class or $16 bran muffins.
There shall be no cost of living adjustments unless voted upon & approved by USA citizenry.
Members of Congress need to be reminded that they serve at the good pleasure of the citizens of the United States.
