Repeal and Change Copyright Legislation :: To the United Kingdom, United Nations, and United States
I recommend repealing copyright legislation, so that censorship may not prevail in a free natiion. What is at stake is greater than any individual or corporate interest. Far before the conception of copyright, there is free speech. I am in favor of protecting various creator's rights. What people do in private is thier own business. Copyright laws should only apply to corporate and those who SELL illicit copies copyrighted works for a breach or violation of the verbatim use of copyrighted materials (with ridiculous fines up to $150,000,) rather than individual use. This way the companies and criminal enterprises get slammed and not people for sharing content. There is no loss to the finance
