Many people have to work 60+ hours a week at straight time just to earn a living. It is unfair to us to not earn overtime after 40 hours. These exemptions allow companies to work us truck drivers up to 70 hours a week at straight time pay. Many salaried employees are making less than those below them because of these exemptions. Every employee deserves overtime pay not just certain jobs. The job shouldn't matter, we should all be paid fairly.
