A well regulated militia is no longer necessary to ensure the security of a free state. Therefore, as the original justification for the second amendment is no longer valid, the states and congress must redefine the rights everyday citizens have to keep and bear arms.
Gun control is a band-aid, the real problem must be attacked directly if we ever expect to be able to prevent the countless tragedies of gun violence. Sign this petition not just for the children who were senselessly murdered, but for those who die every day at the hand of a gun.
