Repeal and Replacement of 2nd Amendment

To better protect and defend the health and safety of all living in the United States, serious consideration should be given to the idea of revising the scope of the second amendment. The second amendment as currently constituted is too broad in scope and endangers the lives of many innocent citizens. There exists a long history of events that clearly demonstrates easy access to firearms is injurious to the general population. This is a proposal to create of a new constitutional amendment allowing the Congress to define laws governing the sale and possession of firearms and ammunition with the United States of America.
