I was appalled to see so many States petitioning to secede from the USA, such a move should not be taken lightly or without a complete study to inform the citizen of each State what compensation is expected from each State to achieve this, With all the facts known, a plebiscite should be conducted with the citizens of the State in question to see if the majority of the people is in favor. Before one can calculate the net worth of a nation, we must subtract the liabilities from the assets, it is not possible to walk away with the assets and leave the liabilities behind. Among our assets are the legacy of those before us that gave their life for our freedom and built this great nation, and this is priceless. If each State pay One Trillion Dollars to secede maybe we can balance the budget!!!
