Prop 206 raises minimal wage to $12, while causing inflation, significantly higher cost of living, and does nothing to help people who live off minimal wage. Minimal wage workers voted YES for Prop 206, but failed to realize that although their pay would be higher, so will everything else needed to live (i.e. food, housing, schooling, ect), so it doesn't change anything expect make it harder for public schools to fund themselves on what little they have now, and make it harder for senior citizens to have a stable retirement.
