Repeal the ban on firearms for persons with misdemeanor domestic abuse convictions after 10 years of no other conviction

Created by J.R. on January 06, 2013

The ban on firearms for persons with misdemeanor domestic abuse convictions should be amended from the Brady bill. It should be amended so that persons could get their gun rights reinstated after a period of time with no convictions for any other crimes. People have had a bad decision one time in their life and they are banned for life, unless pardoned, from legally owning firearms. They can no longer legally participate in some forms of hunting.
