The Obama Administration should repeal the ban on registration of newly manufactured machineguns for law abiding citizens. This insidious and last minute amendment to vital legislation has denied the law abiding citizens of this country the right to legally obtain and own firearms for which a complete registration and tracking system was set up by the National firearms act. It was passed in 1986 as a underhanded, last second way to make the Firearms owners protection act (FOPA) more palatable to the gun control lobby and has denied many firearms owners their 2nd amendment rights. Show the american public you are not interested in taking away their rights by proposing a repeal of this legislation.
