Repeal BAPCPA, the banking lobby's greatest injustice that cost working families their only recourse against usury.

Created by D.N. on October 26, 2011

The 2005 Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Credit Protection Act made it next to impossible for working people to reconcile their debt. By placing additional hurdles and an income test, BAPCPA allowed banks to net millions more dollars in usury charges and took away the last recourse of working families. Banking lobbyists hailed it as their greatest victory and it has taken enough of a toll on our economy and our families.
