Repeal Citizens United.

Created by G.P. on November 14, 2012

The ruling on Citizens United by the SCOTUS gave those with the financial means an unrepresented amount of power to anonymously donate an unlimited amount of monies to a super PAC. While it may seem that it was in vain for the election of 2012, it can be a factor in future elections.

I ask that it be repealed as the super PAC's would have an unlimited amount of funds to spend against a candidate that may not have the ability to raise the same amount of funds. As an example; an incumbent would be able to be backed and have a PAC bank funds for their future run for office unlike one that is running against them for the first time.

If you would be able to repeal it, then at least require the name of anyone that donates to made public. It would not trample on a persons freedom of speech.
